Voice Lessons:
Lessons are available to anyone in grade 4 or older.

What to expect:
In the first few lessons, students will be given exercises to strengthen the muscles used for singing, and will start to learn the fundamentals of breathing correctly for singing. Lessons will consist of vocal warm-ups, exercises, and ear training, to culminate in learning complete songs of all genres. The speed at which the student advances is in correlation to how much effort and time is spent practicing.
Vocal Coaching:
Coaching is available to students of any age, and no vocal training is required.
What to expect:
This service is designed solely to help a singer with a particular song, most often for an audition (e.g. college, musical theater etc.). Having an age or character-appropriate song selected by the instructor for an audition is also available with advance notice.

Piano Lessons:
Lessons are available for beginner through advanced levels for both adults and children. No music experience is necessary – however, children should already be able to read at a kindergarten level.
What to expect:
Students will be taught a balance of theory, ear training, sight reading and repertoire appropriate to their level and musical ability. The instructor will tell the student which book(s) to purchase, or purchase them for the student at a fee in addition to monthly tuition.
Drum/Percussion:
Lessons are available to any student in grade 4 or older.
(Exceptions made at instructors discretion.)
What to expect:
Students will be taught basic rudiment skills and rhythm. The instructor will explain grip, foot work, the mechanics of the arm movement and the single stroke, and their importance. Students will progress to double strokes, paradiddles, stickings and kit work.
Students do not need to invest in a complete drum kit to start lessons, a single snare drum is sufficient for beginners.
Guitar (Acoustic/Electric):
Group Guitar Class:
This is a beginner guitar course that is designed to give the student an understanding of basic guitar skills and technique as well as beginning music theory. The course will cover: identifying the main parts of the guitar, reading notes on the first three strings and playing basic chords to simple songs. This is a 45 minute class held once a week for five weeks. Price is $125 for the five week session.
Private Guitar Lessons:
Lessons are available to students in Grade 4 or older – or any student who has completed the beginner guitar group class (Exceptions made at instructors discretion.) No experience needed – see description for the guitar class if you are a beginner. If you have completed the class, the instructor will expand upon the basic theory and technique the student has previously learned and will introduce the remaining guitar strings to learn more difficult songs.
Bass Guitar:
Lessons are available to students in grade 4 or older. (Exceptions made at instructors discretion.)

Students will learn basic theory and technique.
Woodwinds:
Lessons are available to students in grade 4 or older. (Exceptions made at instructors discretion.)

We currently offer violin, viola and cello lessons for beginner to mastery level. Please contact the studio for more information or to schedule a lesson.

This course is designed for students of any age who want to have a better understanding of the language of music. In this all-in-one theory course, you will learn the essentials of music through concise lessons, practice your music reading & writing skills in the exercises, improve your listening skills with ear training and test your knowledge with a review that completes each unit. This is a 45 minute class held once a week for five weeks. Price is $125 for the five week session.
